Ansmanns new range of lithium polymer batteries are designed to meet an incredibly high specification without being over priced, over hyped and over rated! Many LiPo packs on the market are over rated purely on the discharge rate figures which shows the actual internal resistance of the battery pack, therefore many 'C' ratings you see tend not to be accurate. This is because of how long the pack is actually discharged for, which rather than a contiueous discharge the pack is put onto a burst discharge, which often yields much higher numbers. The Ansmann packs however are put onto a longer, continueal discharge which while does show lower figures, does show that in general the packs have more power throughout the entire life of the battery pack.
The 7.4v 4000mah hard cased LiPo comes supplied with a Tamiya style connector and the common JST XH 'Align' style balance connector. The pack comes in a hard external casing making the pack incredibly durable and even contoured into the shape of a regular 7.2v battery pack, this makes fitting quick and easy into a variety of cars.
